Brussels, Belgium

After our adventure to Antwerp, another city in Belgium we had visited was Brussels. This city is the capital of Belgium. Brussels is the main headquarters of the European Union Parliament. Here are some pictures of the Parliament:

Belgium is also well known for its chocolate and waffles. Not only did we try different types of chocolate but also visited several different chocolate shops and waffles shops. Each city has several different chocolate and waffle companies. Check out some of these awesome pictures of the chocolate shops and waffle shops:

Another large part of Brussels is it's logo: the peeing boy. A Belgian king was in the process of creating a logo for the city and at the time was wondering where his son was. The king decided that whatever his son was doing at the time they would find him, that would be the logo for the city. As you can see, his son was peeing at the time. Here is a picture of the peeing boy:

One of our favorite parts of Brussels, Belgium was visiting the Atomium. This famous structure was built to resemble and model an atom. It is very large and absolutely cool to visit. There is a museum that is located within the bottom of the structure. If tourists are interested and have the time, they can climb to the top and look outside the structure at a beautiful view of Brussels.
